I was at last releived to see that your ‘ Big Test’ last month was about a proper airgun, namely a break-barrel springer, the Webley Stingray. It’s about time we saw some reviews on guns that people actually buy, not all this fancy-Dan, PCP nonsense that you usually write about. As you saw for yourself, it’s a bloody accurate gun and easily good enough to hunt with and on sale at a price that real working men can afford. MARK THOMAS
Hello Mark Stop holding back Mark: tell me what you’re really thinking! Oh, we do have some ‘plain speaking’ readers, don’t we? Should I take that as a compliment or a telling off? I don’t know. Anyway, I did enjoy the Stingray and as ever, am looking out for other interesting rifles to review. I’m pursuing some other spring/piston rifles, but I can only test what the manufacturers send, so the ball is in their court. Ed.
We’re waiting for more spring- powered rifles to arrive for testing
