Another great day out

Air Gunner - - IN THE NEWS -

On the 30th of June, Emmett and Stone Country Store, based near Marlow in Buckinghamshire, had another of its ultrapopular open days. The event was superbly supported by Air Arms who had guns on the range for five hours to allow the public try them out. From the lovely Alpha Proj pistol, to the amazing FTP 900, shooters from far and wide were treated to a unique display from this fabulous brand. The 12th lane in the range was dedicated to a Speed Shot competition, testing shooters’ speed and accuracy across a number of range targets. There were some surprises on the day, including a daughter who shot better than her air- rifle-shooting father, despite never having held an air rifle in her life! Claire West and her team from Air Arms as usual were on form, with endless encouragement and flow of information for people wanting to know more about the models available.

The good news is that they plan another event on the 1st of September, so put it in your diary because this one looks like being their biggest and best yet. On hand will be staff from BSA, Air Arms, Weihrauch, Sterling, FX Airguns, Daystate, Hawke Sport Optics and Hydrotech, with stacks of sexy kit for you to handle and shoot. There will also be plenty of chances to shoot shotguns and rifles too, so it looks like being another great day. Their shop and range is easy to find and close to the M40 motorway, so getting there is a piece of cake. www.emmettand Tel 01628 474187
