This week’s planning applications for Monklands which have been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council are –
North Lanarkshire Bio Power: alterations to approved plans for energy from waste processing building, incorporating reduction in building footprint, changes to design, increase in ventilation stack height to 80m, increase in gross energy output to 27MW, increase in throughput of waste fuel to 204,000 dry tonnes per annum (increase of 24,000 tonnes), associated access improvements to junction with A8; at land at former Shanks & McEwan site, 251 Glasgow And Edinburgh Road, Coatbridge.
GS Brown Construction: mixed- use development – commercial business park; at Lancaster Avenue, Chapelhall.
Arqiva: replacement telecoms mast ( 24.1m in height), equipment cabinet, meter cabinet, secure fenced compound and ancillary development; at Woodend Farm, Coatbridge Road, Gartcosh.
