Zoned in to beat winter blues
Winter is coming but the cool customers at Bargeddie’s Safety Zone are doing their bit to warm locals’ hearts ahead of the inevitable decline in temperatures.
Monday is a hectic day at the Gairbraid Terrace venue, with a writing group for those aged 16-plus from 9.30am to 12 noon and a Monday Group for the elderly from 11.30am to 3pm.
Adult Activate for 16-plus people from 2pm to 3.30pm and martial arts for all ages from 7pm to 8pm then take place later in the day.
Tuesday sees youth groups for eight to 11-year-olds, from 6pm to 7.30pm, and 11 to 16- year- olds, from 8pm to 9.30pm.
On Thursdays, there is a credit union session from 6pm to 7pm and karate from 7pm to 8pm, and IT drop-in sessions take place on Fridays from 9.30am to 11.30am and 1pm to 2.30pm.
The busy week ends at the Zone on Saturdays with the chance to bust some moves at the fabulous Extravadance dance classes from 10am to 3pm.
