Ste­vie fell in love with pho­tog­ra­phy when he was 18 As Christ­mas creeps ever closer, thoughts start to turn to po­ten­tial stock­ing fillers, with many opt­ing for a cal­en­dar.

Coat­bridge pho­tog­ra­pher Ste­vie Spiers is of­fer­ing fes­tive shop­pers the chance to get their hands on a novel monthly count­down that will brighten up peo­ple’s days in 2019.

As part of the pop­u­lar My Lit­tle Peo­ple busi­ness run by Ste­vie and his part­ner Bren, the tal­ented snap­per has re­leased a cal­en­dar fea­tur­ing images of his trade­mark tiny rail­way fig­ures placed along­side props and lo­ca­tions.

Ste­vie, 56, told the Ad­ver­tiser: “Things have been go­ing well for My Lit­tle Peo­ple busi­ness and we are de­lighted to re­lease our 2019 cal­en­dar.

“Hope­fully it will give peo­ple a wee gig­gle at the start of each month.

“We have agree­ments with sev­eral top Scot­tish brands, which in­clude Tun­nock’s, Ten­nent’s and Barrs Irn Bru, to fea­ture images that I cre­ated within our wee busi­ness.

“It is sell­ing well and can be bought from our stall in Mer­chant Square, Glas­gow, ev­ery Satur­day and Sun­day.”

Bren is now work­ing on My Lit­tle Peo­ple com­pany full-time and the cou­ple have just been booked to do their first trade show at Glas­gow’s SEC in Jan­uary.

Ste­vie said:“This will be our first time putting my images in front of the top re­tail buy­ers in the UK, so fin­gers crossed we will come away with some good con­tacts and or­ders.”
