Stevie fell in love with photography when he was 18 As Christmas creeps ever closer, thoughts start to turn to potential stocking fillers, with many opting for a calendar.

Coatbridge photographer Stevie Spiers is offering festive shoppers the chance to get their hands on a novel monthly countdown that will brighten up people’s days in 2019.

As part of the popular My Little People business run by Stevie and his partner Bren, the talented snapper has released a calendar featuring images of his trademark tiny railway figures placed alongside props and locations.

Stevie, 56, told the Advertiser: “Things have been going well for My Little People business and we are delighted to release our 2019 calendar.

“Hopefully it will give people a wee giggle at the start of each month.

“We have agreements with several top Scottish brands, which include Tunnock’s, Tennent’s and Barrs Irn Bru, to feature images that I created within our wee business.

“It is selling well and can be bought from our stall in Merchant Square, Glasgow, every Saturday and Sunday.”

Bren is now working on My Little People company full-time and the couple have just been booked to do their first trade show at Glasgow’s SEC in January.

Stevie said:“This will be our first time putting my images in front of the top retail buyers in the UK, so fingers crossed we will come away with some good contacts and orders.”

The My Little People calendar is priced £10 and also available from www.steviespiersphotography.com, where people can find out more about Stevie and his innovative photography.
