Photographer brings pit disaster into focus
Snapper Mark Farrell’s latest portfolio of eye-catching work included a poignant look at the Auchengeich mining disaster memorial.
Glenboig man Mark took his camera along to the site, which pays tribute to the 47 victims of the tragedy which took place on September 18, 1959.
Mark also sent us in images he took during trips around Scotland, including a seagull dropping in on the Vital Spark in Inveraray.
