Guide Association president Maisie Lithgow presents the trophy The 6th Airdrie Brownie Pack had to make some extra room in their trophy cabinet after they scooped a prestigious prize.
The note-perfect youngsters proudly accepted a sparkling shield from Maisie Lithgow, the local Guide Association president, pictured in the March 25, 1983, Advertiser.
This was a well-earned reward for their wonderful performance in the Airdrie Division Concert held in the Sir John Wilson town hall.
A spokesperson for the Guide Association told the Advertiser afterwards:“It is our honour to present them with their trophy and we look forward to seeing more great work and performances from the group in the future.”
