East Kilbride, Falkirk and Strathaven all took part, as well as Islay who made a three-day round trip to participate.

Islay brought a commemorative teddy bear for the Wolves to thank them for the invitation to the tournament.

The hosts, who are W/Ds Under-15s side, won one, drew another and were beaten twice.

Coach Colin Steele said: “We are so proud of all the girls who played today.

“The competition was extremely high, but so was the sportsmanship shown.”
