● KNOX STREET, AIRDRIE. Carriageway patching works are being carried out until late on Friday. The road between A89 Clark Street and Johnston Street is shut and alternative routes are running on Forsyth Street, Flowerhill Street, Drumbathie Road, Springwells Avenue and Johnston Street. ● LEWIS PLACE, PETERSBURN. Is shut for carriageway patching until late on Friday. The closure is in place from Varnsdorf Way and there are no alternative routes. ● BAILLIES LANE, AIRDRIE. Street lighting works will be conducted from 9am on Saturday until 6pm on Sunday. The road will be shut between A89 Graham Street and Hallcraig Street during this time, with diversions on Forsyth Street and Knox Street. ● KIRKSHAWS ROAD, COATBRIDGE. West of A725 Whifflet Street, for 150m, will shut for 24 hours from midnight on Sunday for drainage repairs. Diversions will be on offer on School Street. ● GARTLOCH ROAD, GARTCOSH. A temporary 30mph speed restriction is in place until late next Wednesday, November 7, from 60m west to 410m south-west on Scalloway Road. This is to allow Scottish Water to carry out a water main upgrade. ● CENTENARY AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Is currently closed for 67m from Agnew Avenue to the private road. Repairs are being carried out to the rail bridge until midnight on Saturday. Southburn Road, Deedes Street and Monkscourt Avenue are the diversions. ● A752 GARTCOSH ROAD, BARGEDDIE. Between Manse Road and A89 Coatbridge Road will close for 24 hours from midnight on Sunday. This is for carriageway marking and lighting works and motorists will be diverted via the A89, Blair Road and Townhead Road. ● YETTS HOLE ROAD, COATBRIDGE. A drainage investigation being carried out from its junction with Burnlip Road to B803 Coatbridge Road will see the road shut between 8am and 5pm on Monday and Tuesday. Residential access will be“maintained, where practical”and diversions available on Muirdyke Road, the B804, Waverley Street and Coatbridge Road. ● WADDELL STREET AND FREW STREET, AIRDRIE. Roadworks being conducted by North Lanarkshire Council at the junction between both streets is due for completion by next Wednesday, November 11. The road will be closed until then. ● ROBERTSON STREET, WHINHALL. A road closure is due to come into affect near property number two this week, which the council says should be completed within six working days. ● A725 WHIFFLET STREET, COATBRIDGE. From its junction with B753 Calder Street to B753 Dundyvan Road is closing for a 24-hour period from midnight on November 11. Bus services may be affected by the closure, which is for carriageway patching works. Alternative routes can be used on B753 Locks Street, A89 Main Street and A725 Coatbank Street. ● RUSSELL STREET, CHAPELHALL. For 80m west of its junction with Main Street is to shut for 24 hours from midnight on November 19 for carriageway patching work. Motorists can use diversions on Honeywell Crescent and Main Street. ● DUNDYVAN ROAD, COATBRIDGE. From 55m west of Barrowfield Street for a distance of 75m will be shut between 9.30am and 3.30pm on November 25. This closure is to allow for manhole cover replacement works and diverted routes will include A89 Bank Street, A89 Coatbridge Road, A89 South Circular Road and A725 Whifflet Street. ● A89 COATBRIDGE ROAD TO A89 GLASGOW ROAD, BARGEDDIE. Right-turn restrictions are in place until late on December 21 due to sewer connection works. The restrictions will only be in affect when signage is displayed.
