TV Dave’s look back

Former radio and television presenter Dave Marshall will be the guest speaker at next week’s meeting of Lanarkshire family history society.

His nostalgic talk, entitled “Yesterday Once More”, is a light-hearted trip back in time for those whose childhood and teenage years were in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

Dave has to date raised more than £27,000 for charity with his presentations, with donations going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Alzheimer Scotland.

All are welcome to attend the talk, which takes place next Thursday, November 8, at 7pm in the GLO centre in Motherwell.
