Don’t miss festive fundraiser

Clarkston Primary’s parents’ and teachers’ association will be hosting a fabulous festive event this Saturday to raise vital funds for the school and its nursery.

Prizes on offer at the Christmas fayre’s main raffle include a giant teddy bear, gin advent calendar and the organisers’ ever-popular family Christmas Eve hamper.

The extravaganza – which takes place in the school from 11am to 1.30pm – will be a wonderful opportunity to grab some festive bargains, with craft stalls selling goods including cupcakes, decorations, comic books, cards, hair accessories and wax burners among other goodies.

A caricaturist will also be on hand and the parents’ and teachers’ association’s gift tombola, bottle stall and raffles could see visitors “bag a fantastic gift for just £1”.
