Looking for help

North Lanarkshire Advocacy, which supports vulnerable adults, is looking to recruit new advocate helpers.

The organisation matches volunteers with Monklands residents who need help to have their “voice and wishes heard in the decisions that affect them most”.

Bob Bogle from the charity said: “Being a volunteer advocate and standing up for someone who needs that extra help can change that person’s life immensely and the volunteer’s own life in the process.

“We are a small charity and have a long-standing commitment to volunteers and to volunteering as a vehicle for personal development and building stronger communities.”
