Festive screen offering
Airdrie’s town-hall cinema will host a special festive screening next weekend with a live stream of the Royal Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker.
It will be shown on screen at Sir John Wilson town hall on Sunday, December 9, at 2pm.
The classic ballet follows little Clara and her nutcracker doll as she drifts to sleep on Christmas Eve and finds herself on a magical adventure – battling larger-than-life mice and toy soldiers, breaking the spell that turned the nutcracker from a boy to a toy, defeating the Mouse King and meeting the Sugar Plum Fairy for a wonderful display of dance.
