Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (PG) ●●● ●● Unnecessary this sequel may have been, but it’s still an infectiously fun watch.

Flashbacks and additional characters keep it just beyond more of the same material and you can tell the cast are having a ball. Strip away the catchy tunes, though, and there’s not much else to it – and the less said about Cher’s turn the better.

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (PG) ●●●● ●

Showing the liveaction DC cinematic universe how to have fun, this animated outing featuring the likes of Batman, Robin and Superman is riotously entertaining.

Reminiscent of The Lego Movie, the gags flow thick and fast and there’s barely a pause for breath.

The musical numbers are a joy too.
