Fix lights at rail station

Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser - - Advertiser view -

Dear Editor,

It’s the same old story about the lights at the train station at Drumgelloch [Advertiser, October 24].

When are they going to get them sorted? The sooner the better.

Blaming one another is not going to get the lights sorted; are North Lanarkshire Council and the railway going to wait until someone gets injured?

Meanwhile, when are the bus companies going to improve the routes running from Caldercruix to Coatbridge?

Every holiday Monday, the bus goes on to Sunday running, which means they hardly run.

The politicians need to sort out the problems, the sooner the better; in the next election people should vote out those who do’t do anything about it. J Simpson, Clarkston
