Festive event

Greengairs senior citizens’ committee will hold their Christmas treat event in the social club on Friday at 7.30pm. Anyone interested in attending is asked to call Helen Laird on 01236 830693.

is Cinderella and will take place at the social club on Saturday. Tickets have sold out. Doors open at 5.30pm and the show begins at 6pm.

Christmas pantomime Brunch with Santa

event is now fully booked. It takes place at the social club on Saturday, from 11am to 1pm and includes arts, crafts and storytelling. Santa will be on hand with gifts for kids ages two-to-five and the ladies of the committee will supply juice. Parents are asked to bring their children along on time.

The musicians meet on Mondays from 6pm to 9pm in the Orange hall on Baillies Lane. Anyone who would like to play the orchestral flute and drums is welcome; contact John on 07525 064303 for details.

Da Capo music group Back Brae Gospel Hall

The breaking of the bread takes place on Sunday at 11am. Sunday school runs from 2.30pm to 3.15pm. Evening gospel meeting is at 6.30pm every Sunday, except the last of the month when the service runs from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Prayer and Bible reading is held on Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 9pm.

takes place in the Orange hall on Sundays, with tickets on sale from 8pm and eyes down at 8.30pm. The Lucky Joker will be drawn at 8.25pm. Tickets cost £1, on sale from committee members.

The social club has been granted a new licence and memberships are now on sale; new and old members are welcome.
