The bells ring out for baby Arianna
Hospital dash for New Year mum
While everyone else rang in the bells, Catherine Robertson was preparing for a mad dash to hospital after going into labour.
Fireworks were still going off when the Caldercruix mum called medical staff at 12.02am on New Year’s Day to report her baby girl was on the way.
Catherine, 27, frantically made her way to University Hospital Wishaw, with staff “shocked at how far along” she was upon her arrival.
But, thankfully, Catherine’s waters didn’t break until she made it to the delivery room and baby Arianna was born healthy and well.
