Keeping warm this winter

A total of 14,660 people in Airdrie & Shotts have received winter fuel payments.

The annual tax-free payment is made to older people, and those on a variety of qualifying benefits, during the winter months.

Alex Neil, Airdrie & Shotts MSP, said:“I’m delighted to hear that 14,660 of my constituents are benefitting from generous winter fuel payments – everyone should be able to heat their home, and keep themselves and their family warm.”
