Shining stars in spotlight

Little stars shone brightly at St Timothy’s Primary when pitch-perfect performers at the Coatbridge school wowed during their moment in the spotlight.

The Advertiser was on hand for the youngsters’ ace adaptation of the nativity story, with hundreds of children involved in the creation of the production.

Having rehearsed for weeks in advance, the pupils were more than ready to entertain the assembled school staff and family members.

The youngsers’ dulcet tones filled the air with magic and happiness as they sang their hearts out.

A St Timothy’s Primary spokespers­on said: “The children did absolutely superbly and had a wonderful time performing the nativity.

“They looked fantastic in their speciallyd­esigned costumes and helped each other every step of the way.”
