Celebrations with Friends
A kind-hearted group of Chapelhall residents put on a delicious festive spread for senior citizens in the village.
They formed a committee called Chapelhall Friends to host a threecourse Christmas dinner and entertainment in Chapelhall parish church’s large hall.
The group were able to organise the event by raising funds and receiving donations and gifts from businesses and residents of the village.
A Chapelhall Friends spokesperson said:“It was a very successful night with 96 people attending; along with dinner and gifts, secret Santa presents were distributed to guests.
“We’d like to issue a grateful thanks to all who helped on the night with serving food, washing dishes and more; a special thanks goes to Janette and Ross Bryce for the entertainment.”
