This week’s planning applications which have been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council are:

Lidl GB/ Distell International: demolition of existing buildings and erection of class 1 retail foodstore ( 1900 sq m), speculative class 1/3 (retail/ food & drink) unit, class 3 “drive- thru” restaurant and associated works, with detailed matters brought forward for the foodstore, car parking access, landscaping and other works ; at Warehouse 1C and 1E, 101 Carlisle Road, Airdrie.

Morrisons Supermarkets: new vehicle parking canopy within service yard; at Morrisons, Gartlea Road, Airdrie.

Kingston Residential Investments: two applications – proposed garage conversion, internal alterations and single-storey rear extension to plot 2, and alteration to house type on plot 14 ( amendments to existing planning permission); both at site at Craigens Road, Airdrie.

JP Mackie& Co: installation of automated prescription collection machine with replacement shopfront; at 16 Blackwoods Crescent, Moodiesburn.

Andrew Wilson: single house (in principle); at 422 Greengairs Road, Greengairs, Airdrie.

Christopher McGuigan: single-storey side extension to accommodate log-burning stove ( class 1A permitted development); at 11 Delamere Grove, Glenboig.

Alan Mc Comisky: single- storey extension; at 6 Annathill Gardens, Annathill, Coatbridge.

Scott Adams: extension to front and side of existing detached garage; at 264 Woodhall Avenue, Kirkshaws.

Andrew McCulloch : single- storey side and rear extension; at 12 High Burnside Avenue, Langloan.

Mr O Younis: integral garage conversion to form family room; at 2 Aspen Grove, Bargeddie.

Mr A MacDonald: singlestorey side extension; at 1A Kirkhill Road, Gartcosh.
