This week’s planning applications for the Monklands area which have been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council are as follows:

West Scotland: residential development with formation of accesses, landscaping and associated works; at land south of Manse Road, Bargeddie.

Callanish Developments: application to vary condition of existing planning permission to allow option for hot food takeaway and class 3 use in units 1 and 2; at site to west of Main Street, Glenboig.

Michele De Carlo: raised patio area to side of building and composite timber cladding; and construction of raised patio with glass balustrade and glazed roof shelter (two applications); at 53C Blairhill Street, Coatbridge.

Jonathan Philips: single-storey rear extension; at 34

Manor Road, Gartcosh.

Mr & Mrs C&V Peacock: two-storey domestic outbuilding with garage on ground floor; at 2 Little Drumgray Wynd, Greengairs.

Peter McAuley: external alterations in association with garage conversion; at 6 Firbank Quadrant, Chapelhall.
