Rovers boss eyes transfers

Albion Rovers boss Brian Reid is willing to “gamble” and make transfer moves at the end of the window.

The gaffer is looking to bring in more experienced heads but will keep some of his budget in the Cliftonhill coffers.

He said: “I’m willing to wait if we need to hold on for another month because there are bound to be players who are looking for deals further up the leagues that won’t end up with a club.

“I’m willing to wait and take a wee gamble to get some experienced boys in.”
