Peekinto livingwith Down syndrome

-

A charity is highlighting the “joys and challenges” of living with Down syndrome.

Wouldn’t Change A Thing is using this month’s Down syndrome Awareness Month to give Monklands residents “a peek into the day of the lives of some of our families and individuals”.

There is a chance to read online posts and blogs, listen to and watch minidocumentaries, and learn what the lives of people being supported by the charity are like.

The campaign launched with a video, which can be viewed at www.youtube. com/watch?v=yscdcvw59ai, from the organisation’s ambassadors conveying a very important message; we all have worth.

Blog posts can be read via https://www. wouldntchangeathing.org/ blog-posts-full-articles/

Wouldn’t Change a Thing’s aim is to “create a world where negative outdated perceptions of Down syndrome are a thing of the past”.
