Newdate forrovers

Albion Rovers will welcome Stenhousemuir to Cliftonhill next midweek after the SPFL announced the re-arranged date for the League Two encounter.

Brian Reid’s side had be due to face the Warriors on Saturday, but that had to be postponed due to the club’s Scottish Cup second round replay against Highland League outfit Brora Rangers, which Rovers won 1-0.

The Stenny game has now been quickly rescheduled and Rovers will face them this coming Tuesday night at Cliftonhill, with the kick-off at 7.45pm.

The sides last met in August when they battled out a 2-2 draw at Ochilview.
