This week’s planning applications for Monklands which have been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council are

Orchard Brae Ltd: proposed residential-led mixed-use development masterplan including residential (mix of types/tenures), local neighbourhood centre, education facilities, retail, petrol filling station, food and drink uses, public house, and hotel and associated facilities; at land to north of A8 and south of Sykeside and Calderbank roads, Airdrie.

North Lanarkshire Council: replacement windows; at Langloan Primary School, Bank Street, Coatbridge.

Drumpellier Golf Club: cutting down of 41 dead ash, beech, chestnut, rowan and sycamore trees (except tree numbers 20-29); at Drumpellier Golf Club, Drumpellier Avenue, Coatbridge.

Richard Swan: change of use to restaurant/cafe; at Scottish Property Centre, 18-22 Main Street, Coatbridge.

William Harley: change of use to include hot food takeaway, at 12-14 Buchanan Street, Airdrie.

Lisa Duncan: replacement front porch; at Dunaird, Queen Victoria Street, Airdrie.
