Roads to shut

Fife Avenue in Airdrie is closing for five days next month for carriageway resurfacing.

This will apply from Ayr Drive to its termination point on December 6-10 and drivers are warned there will be no alternative routes available.

And a Coatbridge road will also be shutting for the same amount of time for carriageway resurfacing work, from December 7-11.

Bute Street will close between Garturk Street and Carfin Street and the latter two roads, along with Calder Avenue, Howes Street, Rosehall Avenue and the A725 Whifflet Street, will act as diversions.
