Roads to shut

A Coatbridge road is shut until 6pm today for footway patching.

The closure affects Cumberland Place, between Sharp Avenue and property 29, and drivers are advised there are no alternative routes available to use.

And George Street in Airdrie, from Queen Victoria Street to Ralston Street, is closed until next Wednesday, December 1.

This is to allow for the completion of emergency works by Scottish Water and diversions on offer to motorists are Queen Victoria Street, Ralston Street and the A89 Alexander Street, while pedestrians can still access the road.
