Bodyfound inhuntfor missingman

A body has been discovered in the search for an elderly Coatbridge man reported missing from Blairhill at the weekend.

Michael Andrews, 71, left an address in King Street between 4.30pm and 8pm on Friday.

Formal identification has still to take place, but police have said there are no suspicious circumstances.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
