Horror chills the spine for the most part

If you fancy a few scares before Santa Claus makes his presence known you could do worse than checking out this 2007 horror.

It marks one of Emily Blunt’s first film roles and, as always, she impresses as a college student forced to share a car ride with Ashton Holmes’ potentially sinister admirer.

Wind Chill works best when it’s just the lead duo stuck in the car surrounded by bitterly cold elements that will make you pull your covers up that bit higher.

Less effective, though, are the late patchy special effects.
