Callfor increased funding forvehicles

-

Following the UK Government’s announcement of incentives to boost production of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, a survey has shown drivers want manufacturers to dramatically increase investment in the technology.

Sixty-three per cent of respondents to the Venson Automotive Solutions survey believe vehicle manufacturers should invest as much time and money in bringing hydrogen cars to UK roads, as they are with electric vehicles.

Alison Bell, marketing director for Venson Automotive Solutions, said: “We all want to do what we can to reduce our emissions but not many of us can afford to be led entirely by the emissions data.

“The range of electric vehicles has grown rapidly, and with the right investment and innovation, hydrogen vehicles should soon follow.”
