Sunset pictures show heaven is a place in Airdrie

An Airdrie photographer ended his day on a high by taking these eye-catching snaps.

Alastair Blackwood entitled the pair of photos “Sunset Heaven” – and there’s no argument from us on how apt that title is.

Although the temperatures outside were low, if you just took Alastair’s images at face value, you’d be forgiven for thinking we are still at the height of summer.
