●●●●● Still going strong six entries in, Mission: Impossible is one of the finest film franchises ever.

That’s thanks in no small part to leading man Tom Cruise, back once again and this time butting heads with Superman himself, Henry Cavill.

It’s interesting to see Cruise’s Ethan Hunt challenged in a more physical style after the tactical games he had to face from previous antagonists.

The action sets a new high for the series with some incredible deathdefying stunts and jaw-dropping set-pieces, the highlight of which is a breathless Paris-set sequence, with Cruise as awe-inspiring as ever.
