“We don’t want any game called off, we want to play in every game.

“We’ve got injuries ourselves, we’ve got players missing, but it is what it is, and we’ve had to cope with that all season – four, five, six players missing – so we’re kind of used to it.

“Fingers crossed games don’t get called off. Things seem to have steadied out, so hopefully the powers that be see that and we can start getting back to normal. We don’t want disruptions. We’ll just have to see.”

Rovers hope to get back to action at Cliftonhill on Saturday when they entertain Stenhousemuir.

Reid’s side are currently eighth in the table, with Stenny two places above them, but having played a game more.

The former Rangers and Morton defender says it’s a topsy-turvy league, which was shown in Annan’s 5-1 Boxing Day win over Kelty Hearts.

He said:“we’ve beat Stenny in a few and they beat us in the last game, but they’ve strengthened, the new manager has spent a bit of money, so they’re obviously one of the ones that are fancied to do something.

“But everybody in that division is capable of beating everyone else, which was proved last week. I know Kelty had a man sent off, but for Annan to win 5-1 shows what can happen.

“But we just need to concentrate on ourselves and get players back fit.”
