Hundreds benefit fromhome scheme
Hundreds of Lanarkshire residents have been helped by the Scottish Government’s Warmer Homes Scotland scheme.
The organisation launched the government’s national fuel poverty initiative back in 2015.
Since then it has helped hundreds of people save an average of £233 off of their energy bills.
The scheme identifies where energy improvements can be made in the home and help arrange for this to be done, offering new heating systems – such as renewable heating technologies – in homes across Scotland.
All of the work delivered through the initiative is carried out by registered and accredited local subcontractors, with completed work independently checked to guarantee that standards are met.
