Missing cat appeal

-

A worried sick Airdrie woman is desperate to trace her beloved pet cat who has been missing for a month.

The feline lover, who wishes to remain anonymous, is looking for help from Monklands residents to find two-year-old male cat Oscar.

Oscar is a grey British short-haired pedigree cat and went missing from his Canterbury Wynd home in Rawyards at 8.30pm on December 19.

His distraught owner said:“oscar is an outdoor cat and he was playing away in the house, but decided he wanted to go out at about 8.30pm and never came back home.

“He is chipped and neutered but we have tried everything. We’ve searched everywhere and have put up leaflets around my home and at the nearby Tesco Express and local chippy.

“He is quite timid and maybe he’s ran away and can’t find his way home.

It’s been a horrible time for us.”

Oscar’s owners have offered a £500 reward for his safe return; anyone who can provide information on his whereabouts is asked to contact 07968 158867.
