Newdate forclash

Albion Rovers’ League Two match with Edinburgh City has been rescheduled for February 15.

The contest was initially due to be played on January 2 but the game at Ainslie Park was called off.

Now Rovers will head into the capital on a Tuesday night as they look to pull further away from the bottom of League Two and closer to the promotion play-offs.

Brian Reid’s side enjoyed their last visit to face the Citizens, coming out a 4-0 winners in what is arguably their best win of the season.

Reid’s men are ninth ahead of facing Cowdenbeath on Saturday but are five points off the promotion play-off spots.
