BUDGET PCP AIRGUNNING WITHOUT COMPROMISE
In a world of rifles costing well over £1,000, it’s all too easy to dismiss rifles costing less than half that amount as poor imitations.
The point of an air rifle is to place a pellet accurately, at full legal-limit power.
Not all budget rifles will be finished as well as their expensive counterparts, or capable of single pellet-hole groups at 40 metres, but they’re not far off. None of these rifles will frustrate you on the range and all are capable of taking on vermin.
As with most things, your own budget tends to have the last say in many situations, but when it comes to PCP air rifles, don’t think that you will have to part with a small fortune just to get in on the act.
