I feel really sad for Phil Hardman losing his prize permission. Although I am a lot older than Phil, I hold the greatest respect for him as an airgun hunter – no FAC, no fancy Hubble-like set-ups on top of his gun, just straightforward 12 ft.lbs. airgun skills for real airgun hunting.
I am sure that Phil will overcome this set-back and regain lost ground, though. A similar thing happened to me some years ago, but things turned around and eventually I gained another permission. All the best to one of the finest airgun hunters and writers around, and good luck Phil – stick with it.
He may be down but he’s not out. Keep going Phil!
