My name is Paul Hayes, and I am Chairman of the Springfield Rifle and Pistol Club in Lincolnshire, where we shoot most types of gun and have a considerable number of members shooting airguns. One of our members, and a personal friend, is 81-year-old Barry Dagger, who got an Olympic medal in 1984 for 10m air rifle, as well as many other awards on the international field. He is still an active shooter – and still darn good! Would you be interested in an article about him or an interview with him? I do have experience of writing magazine articles, having written for woodworking mags in years gone by.
Paul – I remember Barry appearing in the very early editions of Airgun World and it’s great to hear he’s still enjoying his shooting. Please get that article to me as soon as possible and I’ll be glad to publish it. - Ed
