I’ve just read Dave’s article regarding transporting cylinders and I wondered if you’d be interested in looking at my cylinder trolley and valve key. Some years ago, I started to suffer from arthritis and carrying a 12-litre cylinder can be quite painful; gripping the valve can be difficult, too, so I made a trolley and valve key. The trolley has a telescopic handle that makes it quite stable when extended to the fit the width of a car boot. When driving a Jimny with a non-existent boot, it can’t go sideways, but it’s still fairly safe, although it would be better in a proper boot. The valve key has two splines and just slides over the valve, which makes controlling the air flow very easy.

That looks really handy, ‘S’ – sorry, you didn’t give your full name – and just the job for the club range. Top work! – Ed
