Festival thrill comes inside

THE vibe of an outdoor music festival will be brought inside Aldershot’s West End Centre next month as real grass is place throughout the venue.

The Summer Westival returns to the centre, in Queens Road, from August 1 to 3, with a variety of live music, art and craft activities for all the family.

Headliners are Nizlopi plus The Computers, and Irish electro-pop group Fight Like Apes.

The Saturday afternoon is designated for family fun, from 1.30pm to 6pm, with activities including the Throw A Wobbler pottery taster sessions and T-shirt printing workshops.

Children under 12 are admitted free.
