Farnham business hub celebrates opening with entrepreneur events
A FARNHAM entrepreneur has staged her first event in an office she has been awarded free use of after winning a competition.
Emma Selby, founder of the Farnham Hub, was looking for premises for her new business, so decided to enter a competition run by local landowners, the Marshall family.
She submitted a business plan with a five-year budget forecast, and is now enjoying the free use of a suite of offices at the Country Market, between Farnham and Bordon for a year.
The Farnham Hub offers desks for hire by the hour or day, a space for meetings, workshops and networking events.
Last Friday the hub hosted its first day of events at the new premises, including a session of speed networking and a web-search results.
Ms Selby said the hub offered an alternative to a library or cafe for people whose businesses were internet-based, but who occasionally needed to work together. business talk on
