PINEWOOD youngsters gave a five-star show as they swept to an impressive medal haul in the Hampshire Open Green Belt and Under championsh­ip in Portsmouth.

Terri Gough led the way in the Under 44kg group as five fighters from the Crowthorne- based club won gold medals.

She was joined on top of the podium by Noah Jones, who stepped up to take gold in the u30kg, Oliver Young in the u34kg, Dan Franklin at u38kg and Holly Eccles, who fought with great intelligen­ce to dominate the u48kg group.

Lottie Stickland (u28kg), James Ferre (u46kg), Caitlyn Clark (u57kg) and Chris Thorne, in the Senior Mens’ section, all took silver while Bella Holeman (u32kg), Phoebe Deacon (u40kg) and Kesley Gibson (u46kg) claimed bronze.
