Look out for summer fun

-

ARE you looking for somewhere to go in the summer holidays? Somewhere fun, a bit different, with lots to keep the children occupied?

The Look Out Discovery Centre has more than 90 hands-on science activities.

Come and play the light harp, play games on the Smart Table, launch the hot air balloon, create circuits or build the unfinished house.

For the summer holidays, from July 23 to September 1, there will be extra free activities for visitors, including dinosaur puzzles, colouring and wordsearches.

The Dinosaur show is on daily from July 23rd until September 1 and, back by popular demand, is the inflatable planetarium Starlab, from September 13 to January 4. The shows are subject to minimum numbers and an additional cost to the admission charge.

With a coffee shop and gift shop on-site, there is no need to leave the building if the weather is cold or wet.

However in good weather, there is plenty to do outside.

There is a fantastic adventure play area and 1,000 hectares of Swinley Forest to
