Farnborough’s feast of fun
VISIT Farnborough this summer to check out the improvements that have been made to Queensmead and to enjoy the free entertainment.
Every weekend from the end of July to the end of August, activities will take place in the town centre’s pedestrianised shopping area. Enjoy the new- look surroundings which have received a multi-million-pound makeover from Rushmoor Borough Council and include new paving, seating and lighting and the planting of a variety of trees.
This summer’s town centre entertainment will include live music by Cactus Brass Band and Alder Valley Brass Band. Juggling Jake will show children how to perform circus skills such as plate spinning and stilt walking.
Children will be able to feed the friendly Dallas Donkeys and meet a variety of birds of prey. Children’s entertainer Robbie the Pirate will also be out and about. To see the full diary of events, visit www.rushmoor.gov.uk/ events.
