CCTV appeal after attack

POLICE officers are appealing for informatio­n after a staff member was verbally abused and punched at a takeaway in Yateley.

Hampshire Constabula­ry has released a CCTV image showing a man they would like to speak to as he may be able to provide informatio­n following the attack at Yateley Kebabs in Reading Road shortly after 8pm on July 6.

The man pictured was not hurt and is described as white, 35 to 45 years old, around 5ft 4ins tall, with dark brown short hair.

He was wearing a light T-shirt with logo and writing on the front and dark knee length shorts.

Anyone who may have informatio­n about this incident is asked to contact PC Timothy Phillips at Yateley Police station on 101, quoting 4414024013­8 or ring Crimestopp­ers charity anonymousl­y on 0800 555 111.
