Arrests after pair stabbed

AN appeal for witnesses and informatio­n has been made after two men were seriously assaulted in Farnboroug­h.

Police officers were called at 6.27pm on Good Friday (March 29) to a report that two men had been stabbed while sitting in a silver Ford S-Max car in Alison Close.

The men, aged 22 and 32, suffered serious but non-life threatenin­g injuries to their legs and were taken to hospital.

Following extensive enquiries, the police have now arrested four men and one woman.

A 26-year-old man from Farnboroug­h has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A 45-year-old woman from Camberley has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. They remain in custody. A 21-year-old man from Chertsey has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and has been bailed until July 3.

A 19-year-old man from Farnboroug­h was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and has been bailed until July 1.

A 20-year-old man from Farnboroug­h was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and has been bailed until June 30.
