Braddock falls

Major General Edward Braddock, the British commander at the Battle of the Monongahela, falls mortally wounded amid the confusion of the French and Native American attack on his troops. Braddock had already had four horses shot from beneath him and was climbing onto a fifth when the fatal ball struck.
