These jobs of­ten in­volved jock­ey­ing for po­si­tion to get the best shot, so pho­tog­ra­phers would get there early and wait in place in or­der to get the best view pos­si­ble. Car chases weren’t un­heard of when it came to cap­tur­ing the best pos­si­ble im­age.
